"From the moment they wake, they devote themselves to the perfection of whatever they pursue".
"Life in every breath,
In every blossom,
In every cup of tea.
That is Bushido".
Bushido: the way of the warrior. A way of honor, loyalty, wisdom, inner peace, self-control, discipline. Even the Suppuku: a way of correcting what was wrong.
Bushido was used by the ancient Samurai, but its values are timeless. In today's world it still means living a life with Honor, Loyalty, discipline and wisdom. Fight until the end. Never betray. Always loyal: loyal to yourself, to your values, to your friends, to your family.
Samurai: guided by a strict set of moral values, that guide their lives and their death. Concentration, practice, perfection, stillness of mind, faith, wisdom acquired through meditation, caligraphy, arts. Honor, loyalty, strength . Discipline in everything.
To live ruled by honor, honesty and loyalty is to live like a Samurai. Even the Suppuku, the traditional suicide when a Samurai lost in battle. The meaning of the Suppuku nowadays wouldn't be that of killing oneself, but rather to correct what was done wrong, to re-gain one's honor. Even if re-gaining it means to suffer horrible pain. Fix any wrongdoing. Do what's right.
Bushido.
